Surface Modifiers

Cleaners

Neutralizer Degreaser

Helix Neutralizer/Degreaser is the product of choice for neutralizing acid stain floors prior to sealing, and to remove oil, grease or other types of soils from colored, imprinted and natural concrete surfaces.

ConClean / Stain Pretreatment

Helix Conclean / Stain Pretreatment is a detergent modified weak mineral acid concentrate used to clean mineral deposits from concrete, as well as prepare concrete substrates for staining with Helix Acid Stain and Helix Concrete Dye.

Sealer Stripper

Sealer Stripper

Helix Sealer Stripper removes sealer, paint, and any type of coating from concrete surfaces without harming the substrate. Helix Sealer Stripper works on acrylic, varnish, latex, lacquer, urethane, epoxy and most any type of coating.

Surface Etch

Helix Surface Etch is applied to freshly placed concrete to slow the hardening of the cement by temporarily deactivating the hydration process, which is washed away to reveal a beautiful exposed finish. Surface Etch develops a polymer film that acts as a water barrier and curing compound, protecting the concrete from incidental rain and inhibiting the evaporation of the mix water. The top of the cast concrete has a resulting sand finish unlike any hand-washed or sandblasted concrete finish on the marketplace.

Surface Etch is available in eight varying degrees of exposure, ranging from light acid wash to heavy aggregate exposure. Each formulation is blended to a specific pH to counteract the high pH of Portland cement. This exacting pH makes for consistent depths of etch that are unachievable with traditional exposing products.

Grit Additives

Helix Polygrit

A blend of powdered, modified polymers, Helix Polygrit is a polymeric grit coating additive used with sealers and other coatings to provide traction in potentially slippery surfaces. Typically used on garage floors, kitchens, commercial entry areas, steep inclines, pool and spa decks, and more. Helix Polygrit is used primarily with solvent-based sealers but can also be mixed into water-based sealers.
